This just makes me happy

There are so many reasons why I find this comforting.
1) Robot
2)Crappy vintage robot which is just a guy sweating in a bunch of cardboard boxes (cardboard box robots remind me of my childhood, as I attempted to become a robot)
3) Superman
4) I grew up watching reruns of the black and white Superman. There’s no room for reruns anymore. How will the next generation learn anything about our culture… remakes?

I am SNOWFLAME– cocaine is my god!

Saturday, April 17th, 2010

Lately, I’ve been getting into video blog reviews of bad things. It’s very educational. You learn a lot about what something should look like. At atop the fourth wall, Linkara provides a goldmine of great reviews of bad comics.

There’s also a bunch of cheesy little bits peppered throughout the episodes, but I tend to fastforward through that and the theme song.

But here, we present SNOWFLAME! A supervillain whose powered by COCAINE! He has some of the best cheesy dialogue ever and if I ever work for DC comics, I’m bringing him back (if someone else doesn’t do it first).

Edit: April 27
I did Snowflame Fan Art!

Tim Pratt and the magic of podcasts

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

Do you like a good story? I like a good story. I especially like a good story read to me as I’m working on the computer at wee hours in the morning.

One new find is writer Tim Pratt who I found on Escape Pod

Origin Story
Is about the life of a superhero as told by his older brother.

Impossible Dreams
This Hugo Award winning story is about a movie lover who finds a very interesting video store.
